FULL DAY: Sightseeing tour of the city. A guide will tell us about the history of the city, AT Afternoon: free in the Irish capital.
Upon arriving at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers.
In the morning, we will embark on a panoramic tour of London, which will include notable sites such as Westminster, the Parliament, the City, and the River Thames. The afternoon will be free for personal exploration. Additionally, we offer an optional excursion to the Thames Valley, featuring the village of Windsor and its magnificent castle. In the evening, we will convene at a designated meeting point in Piccadilly for a stroll through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho, renowned for their vibrant atmosphere, theatres, and entertainment options. Please note that this transfer can also be arranged the day prior to your arrival in London. Afterward, we will return to the hotel by coach.
We begin our journey by departing from London and making our way to northern England. Our first destination is Cambridge, where we will enjoy the beauty of its exquisite residential colleges. After a lunch break, we will continue to York, a city characterized by its impressive cathedral, ancient Roman walls, and bustling shopping streets, allowing for some free time to wander. Following this, we will head north to Durham, a charming medieval town alive with activity, home to a splendid cathedral located right in front of the castle.
Today, we embark on a journey to Scotland, with a stop in Alnwick, a charming town renowned for its beautiful gardens and an impressive medieval castle featured in the Harry Potter films. Our travels will then take us to Edinburgh, where we are expected to arrive in the afternoon. As the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh is one of the most vibrant cities in Northern Europe, and its historic center has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The castle, perched above the city, offers stunning views of the steep streets and lush parks. We will partake in a sightseeing tour led by a knowledgeable local guide.
We will continue to appreciate the breathtaking scenery of the Scottish Highlands while enjoying coffee and a leisurely walk in the picturesque village of Pitlochry. Our journey will take us past Inverness, situated in the northern part of Scotland, close to the enigmatic Loch Ness. Following lunch, we will explore Urquhart Castle, a medieval fortress, with entrance fees included. This will be followed by a boat excursion on the lake’s dark waters. Subsequently, we will travel through Fort Augustus, known for its sluice gate system, and Fort William, a popular tourist destination at the base of Ben Nevis, the tallest peak in the United Kingdom. Our return journey will lead us south through the elevated plateaus, where glimpses of snow may be seen, before we visit Loch Lomond, one of Scotland’s most renowned lakes. We will conclude our day in Glasgow, where we will take a brief stroll around the city center before settling into our accommodation.
We will depart Glasgow today and travel toward southern Scotland. In Cairnryan, we will take a ferry there. BELFAST, the capital of Northern Ireland, is the destination of our journey in the direction of Northern Ireland. This great city is beating its strict struggles. We will continue our excursion to EIRE in Ireland. Last stop will be DUBLIN, showing up toward the day’s end.
A sightseeing tour of Dublin, Ireland’s tranquil capital, gives us a head start on the day. We’ll take a leisurely stroll along the River Liffey, stopping at its parks, historic university, and lively downtown streets. We will walk around Trinity School (contingent upon the span of daylight, this visit might happen the evening prior, upon appearance in Dublin). Time off during the afternoon
