Today marks an exciting day in the Netherlands. Our first destination is Zaanse Schans, famous for its windmills, canals, and traditional architecture. We will then continue to Volendam, a charming fishing village known for its picturesque scenery. A short boat journey from Volendam will take us to Marken, an island linked to the mainland by a fixed dike, where the houses are uniquely constructed on stilts. Afterward, we will head to Amsterdam for a panoramic city tour, where we will admire its narrow canals, official buildings, and beautiful parks. We will also have the opportunity to witness the diamond cutting process. A significant portion of our visit will be conducted on foot, with information relayed through headphones. Dinner will be served in Rembrandtplein, an area filled with a variety of international restaurants and located near the liberal red-light district. We will conclude our day with a return to the hotel.
Our journey will take us to BRUGES, a picturesque medieval city celebrated as the “Venice of the North” for its beautiful canals. The city exudes a magical charm, characterized by its cobblestone pathways, ancient buildings, and romantic bridges. Should you wish, you can climb the Belfort to enjoy its stunning vistas. Are you interested in tasting Belgian chocolate, or do you prefer the renowned craft beer? We will then proceed to France, arriving in PARIS by the end of the day.
Our journey begins with an exploration of France’s history at the grand Palace of Versailles (admission not included), famous for its exquisite gardens. Afterward, as we make our way back to Paris, we will visit Montmartre, where a cable car ride (included) will take us to this vibrant neighborhood known for its artists, painters, and cabarets. To admire the stunning avenues and monuments of Paris, a guided city tour will be offered. We will then return to the hotel, with the option to enjoy a variety show in the evening.
We will visit the heart of Paris, beginning with the vicinity of the Eiffel Tower. You will have the chance to ascend to the second floor of this iconic metal structure (ticket included). Following this, we will embark on a boat cruise along the River Seine, which separates the northern and southern parts of Paris. You will then have a free afternoon to explore at your leisure. Please note that there may be extended wait times to access the Eiffel Tower; therefore, the ascent may occur at a different time or on Sunday, should it be deemed more suitable for organizational purposes.
