You will arrive in Tbilisi, where our local representative will be waiting to assist you with your transfer to the hotel. The capital city of Georgia, Tbilisi, is rich in history and culture, located on both banks of the Mtkvari River and surrounded by mountains. The name Tbilisi comes from the Old Georgian word for “warm.” Archaeological findings indicate that this region has been inhabited since the 4th millennium BC. Following your check-in at the hotel, the rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. You will spend the night in Tbilisi.
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will drive to the OLD TBILISI and start the walking tour to discover the beauty of ancient capital – walking tour starts at the Europe Square and includes: Metehki Church, Cable Car to the Narikala fortress (ride up by cable car), “Mother of Kartli”, walking down to Abano District. Then continue walking to Legvtakhevi waterfall. Free time there for photo shooting. Walking on Sharden street and cross the “Bridge of Peace”. Then we will visit the Trinity Cathedral. Later, walking on main street of the city – Rustaveli Avenue. Free time for shopping at Flea Market on Dry Bridge, where the guests can find unique handmade and antique souvenirs.
At the evening, we will ride to Mtatsminda Amusement Park by Funicular. The park is highest point of the city. There you can find the good viewpoints to whole city. Free time there for refresh and walking. Drop off at the hotel or at city center and free time for your own.
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. At approximately 10:00 am, we will commence our tour to Gudauri. Our initial destination will be Jvari Monastery, perched atop a hill that offers a panoramic view of Mtskheta and the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. Following this, we will visit the Svetitkshoveli Cathedral, located in the heart of Mtskheta, a city recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Our next stop will be the Ananuri Complex and the Jinvali Reservoir. Subsequently, we will proceed to Gudauri, where we will explore a stunning monument that serves as an excellent viewpoint for the breathtaking Caucasus mountains. Here, you will have some leisure time to relax and take in the scenery. Later, we will check into the hotel for a restful overnight stay in Gudauri.
The day will commence with breakfast at the hotel. We will then set off for a tour of Kazbegi, one of the most sought-after tourist attractions in Georgia. Our first leg will involve driving to Kazbegi, where we will transfer to a 4×4 vehicle to ascend to the Gergeti Monastery, which is enveloped by the towering mountains of the Caucasus. Following this, we will visit Dariali Gorge, a pivotal historical center that serves as the primary border between Georgia and Russia. On our way back to Gudauri, we can make a stop at Sno Village for a brief exploration, if desired. We will conclude the day by returning to our hotel in Gudauri for some well-deserved rest. Accommodation for the night will be in Gudauri.
The day begins with breakfast at the hotel. At approximately 10:00 am, guests will check out from the hotel in Gudauri and embark on a journey to the birthplace of the renowned historical figure, Joseph Stalin. A visit to the Stalin Museum will be included. Following this, the group will proceed to Uplistsikhe Cave Town. Upon returning to Tbilisi, a stop will be made at Tbilisi Mall for shopping. Later, guests will have the opportunity to explore the Orbeliani Bazaar, where they can purchase organic fruits and vegetables and savor the delightful flavors of local street food. The evening is free for personal exploration in this enchanting capital city. Overnight accommodations will be in Tbilisi.
After breakfast in the morning, we will set off for the Kakheti Region, often referred to as the “Cradle of Wine” because of its celebrated history and expertise in winemaking, along with its unique grape varieties. Guests have the option to tour the KTW Winery and partake in a wine tasting session. Following this, we will head to Sighnaghi, famously known as the “City of Love,” a charming town located on a hilltop and surrounded by scenic valleys and the towering Caucasus Mountains. A visit to the Bodbe Monastery will also be included before we return to Tbilisi for an overnight stay.
