Upon your arrival in Tbilisi, our local representative will be on hand to assist you with your transfer to the hotel. Tbilisi, the ancient and lively capital of Georgia, is located along both banks of the Mtkvari River and is encircled by mountains on three sides. The name “Tbilisi” comes from the Old Georgian word meaning “warm.” Archaeological findings indicate that human habitation in this region dates back to the 4th millennium BC. After checking into your hotel, you will have the rest of the day free for personal exploration. You will stay overnight in Tbilisi.
The day will begin with breakfast at the hotel. Subsequently, we will travel to OLD TBILISI to initiate a walking tour that highlights the historical allure of this ancient capital. The tour will kick off at Europe Square and will encompass significant landmarks, including Metehki Church, a cable car ascent to Narikala Fortress, the “Mother of Kartli” statue, and a descent into Abano District. We will then continue our exploration to Legvtakhevi Waterfall, where there will be an opportunity for photography. The journey will take us along Sharden Street, leading to the “Bridge of Peace.” Following this, we will visit the Trinity Cathedral and then proceed along Rustaveli Avenue, the city’s main street. Guests will enjoy free time to browse the Flea Market on Dry Bridge, where they can discover unique handmade and antique souvenirs. In the evening, we will take a funicular ride to Mtatsminda Amusement Park, the highest point in the city, which offers breathtaking views of Tbilisi. Guests will have free time to unwind and explore the park before we conclude the day with a drop-off at the hotel or in the city center for personal leisure.
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. At approximately 10:00 am, we will commence our tour to Gudauri. Our initial destination will be Jvari Monastery, perched atop a hill that offers a panoramic view of Mtskheta and the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. Following this, we will visit the Svetitkshoveli Cathedral, located in the heart of Mtskheta, a city recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Our next stop will be the Ananuri Complex and the Jinvali Reservoir. Subsequently, we will proceed to Gudauri, where we will explore a stunning monument that serves as an excellent viewpoint for the breathtaking Caucasus mountains. Here, you will have some free time to relax and take in the scenery. Later, we will check into the hotel and enjoy some rest.
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. On this day, we will embark on a tour to one of Georgia’s most renowned tourist destinations, Kazbegi. Our journey will begin with a drive to Kazbegi, where we will switch to a 4×4 vehicle to ascend the mountain and visit the Gergeti Monastery, nestled amidst the majestic and enigmatic Caucasus Mountains. Subsequently, we will proceed to Dariali Gorge, a significant historical site that serves as the main border between Georgia and Russia. On our return to Gudauri, we can, upon request, make a stop at Sno Village to explore the area. We will then return to the hotel in Gudauri for some rest. Overnight accommodations will be in Gudauri.
Guests will start their day with breakfast at the hotel. At around 10:00 am, they will check out from the Gudauri hotel and travel to the hometown of the famous historical figure, Joseph Stalin, where they will visit the Stalin Museum. The next destination will be Uplistsikhe Cave Town. After returning to Tbilisi, there will be a shopping stop at Tbilisi Mall. Later, guests can visit the Orbeliani Bazaar to purchase organic fruits and vegetables and enjoy the exquisite local street food. The evening will be free for guests to explore the beautiful capital city at their leisure. Overnight stay will be in Tbilisi.
